You could try contacting them again (we are fellow users here on these forums). Ttry the 'report a problem' page to contact them : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I'm not entirely sure what your reply means, but if you haven't received the automated reply and/or it's been more than 48 hours since you contacted them then try contacting them again

What did they say in their reply ? Or do you mean that you didn't receive an email ? Usually when you contact them via email you get an automated reply, which I think says when you should get a 'proper' reply - if you got the automated reply, does it say 24 or 48 hours ?

Try contacting them again. I'm not sure whether it's now 24 or 48 hours for you to get a proper reply (you've checked the spam folder as well as the inbox on your email account ?), but whether they credit/refund you or not, you should still get a reply saying what they are doing.
