How to re-load my iPod from iCloud - symbols are incomprehensible?

I paid for iCloud storage but there were no instructions informing me that all my music would be taken from my iPod. Now, it has been imposssible to re-load my music. Additionally, the download symbols are baffling. Apple has made it impossible to resolve problems unless I pay them to help me solve the problem that they created.

I'm in the desert and have infrequent WiFi. I need my music to remain on my iPod.
