Face time,click on Red Button(X) logs U out of Call, new behavior

Face time,click on leftmost Red Button(X) logs U out of Call, new behavior

In the past, if I clicked on leftmost Red Button(X), the conversation window would shrink, but you do not log out of the call.

How to alter this behavior?

How to reprogram Face time buttons?

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Skype installed
