Personally I have experienced no issues with AirPlay since updating to iOS7 on my iPhone, iTunes 11 (any version) on my computer, and version 6.0 on my ATV.
AirPlay issues are network issues.. resolve the network issue and AirPlay will start working again.

Oct 5, 2013 4:16 PM in response to BigSky5by JWandLW,I may have accidently fixed a similar problem. Try changing a setting on the ATV. Go to Settings > General > Apple TV Name: to an option on the list (select it).
More info in my orginal post, and something else you can try if it doesnt work. Let me know if it works.

When you swipe up from the bottom of a devices screen the pop up should show a box and arrow in the bottom center of screen labeled Airplay?
