ios7 voice memos stops my replaying when i unlock the screen

ios7 voice memos stops my replaying if i try to unlock the screen when it is locked and playing... then it sends it back to the beginning of the recording, and i have to figure out where i was in a 50 minute lecture- kind of a pain. is this just me? or does everyone else have this happen? I am hoping they fix it, but if i not i may just download another app (suggestions?) because i re-listen to lectures everyday, and it has become such a nuissance.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.2

i have noticed a similar problem on my 5. Also happens with aduiobooks or podcasts. Still looking for a solution...

A hard reset helped the problem. Does not happen anymore.

Hi Noledoc,

I was hoping the Apple Techy's would update this software as it is VERY ANNOYING. Any interruption while replaying the VM will stop and rewind completely where as in 3G it would pause. Did you mention a hard reset solved the problem? How do you reset in VM?
