My daughter has an iPhone 4s on a 4 gig Verizon data plan. She's looking at buying a wifi only iPad soon. Can she use the iPhone Personal Hotspot function to provide 3g connectivity to the iPad from her existing data plan when wifi isn't available for the iPad? I do know there might be a Verizon charge to set up the Hotspot.

Yup I use it everyday I'm on t mobile but it will work the same for verizon I tether with my iPad mini no issues
