Q: I'm trying to import pictures from Iphoto to Aperture.

I've noticed on youtube when they show an example of importing your photo's from Iphoto to Aperture that they go File>Import>Iphoto Browser.  However, when I go File>Import there's no iPhoto browser selection available.  Am I doing something wrong?

    What is your Aperture version?

The iPhoto Browser has been discontinued in Aperture 3.3. SInce the introduction of the unified library format for iPhoto and Aperture there is no longer a need for the iPhoto Browser. Aperture can directly open (compatible) iPhoto Libraries to browse and edit them in Aperture or merge iPhoto Libraries into the Aperture library. To use iPhoto libraries with Aperture 3.3 ar later, you need to have iPhoto 9.3 or later installed.
