How to install SAP Gui log on pad in Mac pro

Hi All

I have just bought a Macbook Pro with OS x Lion 10.8.5. I am an Sap Consultant and i want to install SAP Gui log on pad, but i came to know that is not supported on macbook. Please guide what are the steps that i should be taking to install SAP Gui. I have been guided to download Java jdk 7.8 or further which is necessary for SAP to work on macbook. I would really appreciate an immediate response from support, because i have some deadlines and deliverables.
