Re-installed iWork '09 on Snow Leopard. Will not download updates.

I just had to have my old 2006 iMac's HD replaced (original crashed). I decided to start with a fresh install and cherry pick folders from Time Macine instead of a complete restore. I reinstalled iWork '09 from the original retail disk, but software update does not offer any updates to bring it back to the previous version. The most recent verions on App Store are not compatible with Snow Leopard, and this "Vintage" iMac cannot upgrade past Snow Leopard. How can I get the updates to the newest versions that I had previous maxed out at?
