Sharing Pictures from Photos to iMessage Not Working

Twice today I tried sharing a picture or multiple pictures from Photos to iMessage from my iPad running iOS 7.0.2. I selected the photo(s), hit the Share button, selected Message and then entered the user's iMessage number (it prefilled from my address book) and pushed Send. Nothing happened. The picture(s) did not appear in my iMessage window on any device and the person didn't receive anything. I tried this multiple times, same result.

When I did it the opposite way around, starting with iMessage, hitting the Camera button and then selecting a picture, it worked fine.

Anyone else having this issue?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 7.0.2

I'm on 7.0.4 IOS and have the same issue. I have to reboot device then it works fine for a while. It must be a bug and hope apple releases a fix.

I just sent myself a photo by selecting a photo then message. Everything went fine. Try a reset, press and hold the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. Message yourself a photo to see if it worked.
