how may i now purchase Cloud storage in excess of 5GB? can the purchase be set to automatically renew year to year?

Read here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4874. If you purchase a storage upgrade it will renew ever year unless you downgrade it. The expiration of the free 20GB upgrade for former MobileMe users is a special situation.
