Thanks for responding. When I open the email and click on Subscribe to this Photo Stream, this is the message I get:

To subscribe to Pamela Mccormack’s “Baltimore Zoo” photo stream on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, open your invitation in the Mail app, and click the Subscribe button in the message.

To subscribe you need to be signed in to iCloud on:

    • an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6 or later, or
    • a Mac with OS X 10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later

So I have Mac OS X 10.8.5 and iPhoto 9.4.3 installed.

I also followed another suggestion and signed off on iCloud and Photo Stream and then signed back in, but that didn't work either.

Wow I'm so happy someone else has this problem. I've been trying to figure out where I've gone wrong bu there don't seem to be any answers anywhere on the Internet.

Did you manage to figure out how to subscribe?

I had this problem on several machines running 10.10.3 in an office environment and I was able to get it to work by using the apple mail application to access and accept the emailed invitation, and not a web mail interface.  I had even tried copying and pasting the subscription link.  I know it is a dumb solution, for those not using the apple mail app, but it worked.
