Q: I'm having a problem with Netflix v5 on an IPad2 running IOS 7.

I have my Ipad connected through an HDMI cable to my tv. Up until yesterday I was able to watch Netflix on my television. Now I get an error message saying 'Cannot play video. The connected device is not supported. If you are running Air Play please turn of Mirroring.' I tried to follow the steps of swiping Up on my Ipad to see an Air Play icon, but I can't see any Air Play icon. I re-booted my Ipad. Still no luck.

I'm frustrated that I can no longer connect my Ipad to the tv via HMDI cable. I tried Netflix live support, but they couldn't help me. They told me it's an Apple issue.

I just started having this problem also.  I also cannot use my IPhone 4S, but can use my Mac Book Pro with retina display.  I have tried different solutions, but so far nothing is working.  I would much prefer to use the Ipad for movies because it takes less space on a table.  Used to work great until latest updates.
