Q: I purchased a song from iTunes radio through Apple TV.  The song does not show up on my iOS devices or my MacBook Pro?

I tried out the new iTunes Radio last night through my Apple TV.  Even purchased a song.  Can't find the song through any of my iOS devices or my MacBook Pro music library.  What am I missing?  It said that the song would be on my devices.  Help?

    When you purchase a song on your Apple TV, it is available on all of your devices. There are a few reasons why you may not see the song on your iOS devices or your MacBook Pro. They may not be set up to download purchases automatically, or you may not have been signed into the iTunes Store.

     

    I'd suggest trying to download the purchases on your other devices using the steps in this article:

    You may also want to check your automatic download settings, so you can receive future songs automatically. See this article for help:

    Hi,

     

    I have the same issue. My automatic downloads for music only is on on both my iPad and iPhone with the latest software with the same Apple ID. If I purchase a song on my Apple TV iTunes Radio it does not download to my other devices or even Mac. If I go to iTunes on my Mac and check for available downloads there is nothing to download.

     

    I have to manually go to the song and download the songs from the cloud and it does not move it to my Purchased playlist.

    With the new iTunes update (.2) yeaterday with OsX Mavericks, I wonder if this issue may be addressed. I will maybe purchase a song again through iTunes Radio and see if the automatic purchase download to iTunes now works. If anybody else can get a data point on this, please post. Thanks.

    I'm able to download past purchases or even when I purchase it on the apple tv I can manually download it on my Mac, but I still does not automatically download the songs I purchased on the apple tv itunes radio to any device even if automatic downloads are on on the devices.
