using compressor for youtube

I have a 3 min 20 sec music video 1080p shot on canon 60d. Edited in fcpx. What is the best way to compress this for quality on youtube?

Any helpful ideas using compressor 4? Thanks!

FWIW, I duplicate the HD presets for 1080 and 720, make a few changes and save as custom YT settings.

My changes are: Video Settings, Optimized for Streaming; turn off Frame Re-ordering.

In the Encoder, set Streaming to Fast Start.

For 720, activate Frame Controls and set Resize Filter to Best. For 1080, do nothing…unless the source material is interlaced. If interlaced (for any resolution), turn on Frame Controls and de-interlace.

Good luck.
