My computer crashed and I now want to put all my songs on my ipod back into itunes. I can't seem to find the settings to do this.

The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back
