How do I get my iPhone 5s to back up to iCloud?

I just got my iPhone 5s, and I tried to back up my photos to iCloud, but I found that only some of htem backed up when I went to photostream. When I went to photodate, I found that the apps before September 18th (the day iOS 7 came out) didn't back up. Only the photos taken with iOS 7 backed up. I have about two photos that were taken on my old 4S, so I think it's iOS. Anyone have any ideas of how to get those photos to back up? I think it's just a glitch, so I hope apple sees this question. If you're having the same problem, please write that. Could iCloud also be not backing up other things, and I just don't know about it? I have camera roll checked in the iCloud management page. By it, it says 1.5 GB, so I know it realizes there are more photos in the camera roll. What should I do? Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.2

Hey iphoneboy16

Create a Shared Photo Stream to get any missed photos that did not make it into the Photo Stream. Remember, when you turned on Photo Stream it will start to copy new photos taken at that point in time. It also only holds the pictures for 30 days and up to 1000 photos.
