Q: How to make multiple copies of the same file in one folder using Automator?

I am trying to duplicate the meta data for images so that they all have the same colour profile added.

I have set up a script to find the correct file in finder, then copy it, then rename it. and that works great, but it only does it once, I need it do that 167 times and rename them sequencially.

Is there another action i need to add?

Automator, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    You can do something like:

    1. Get Specified Finder Items  (drag the desired file into the action)
    2. Duplicate Finder Items  (the file will be duplicated into the same folder)
    3. Loop { Loop automatically 20 times }  (or however many times)

The copies will have a number appended to the name.

That will work! I make the correct ammount of duplicates by using copy finder items and loop, then make a new workflow to rename the files correctly.

OK, thanks, that will do it
