If you are having a "No SIM" issue on your iPad after updating to iOS7, you may find the following article helpful (the article referrs to the iPhone, but the steps should be similar for cellular iPads):

Oct 9, 2013 1:25 PM in response to brenden dvby Bk47gh,Thanks for your suggestions. I have tried all of this. I spent an hour and fifteen minutes on the phone with the apple help line. After completely resetting the iPad back to factory settings and then bringing it back up, still didn't work. The Apple store had similar results.
My question is, with so many people having the identical problem, just after upgrading to iOS7, it just seems strange that so many iPads and iPhones would have simultaneous hard ware failures? Does anyone know if Apple is working on a soft ware fix, or is this a plot to get us all to buy new devices?
