There is no netflix on my Apple TV. How do I locate it?

yes but a friend i know has netflix and watches tv programmes regularly!! they live opposite me! can you simply change the time zone on apple tv to a country other than one living in?
What country do you live in?
Have you tried asking this friend what they did, if anything, to make this work?
