I have upgraded to the new iOS7 and thinking that it has screwed up my messaging. Now, instead of my name, my friends are seeing either my yahoo e-mail address or my icloud address. How do I fix this?

When I go to settings, then messages, there is no place that says Send & Receive. It only has a place to turn on or off iMessage, then MMS Messaging, Group Messaging, Show Subject field, character count and blocked. Thank you for helping.
They must not have your AppleID, yahoo email, set in their contacts as being you.
Or your phone is set up to send iMessages from your AppleID instead of your phone number...
Settings---> Messages---> Send & Receive---> Start New Converstations from---> phone number.

@kmadge12: Settings > Messages > ... skip a few by scrolling down a little further until you find > Send & Receive, and once on this page ... if you see a list of email addresses displayed for selection, just LOGOUT, and your number will default to receivers instead of email addresses. And your phone number can only be displayed to receivers when there's no email address(es) listed or to choose from.
This LOGOUT will not effect your iCLoud if you have concerns about *Find My iPhone* feature being turned off.
iCloud and Messages Settings are separate.
