Full screen playback won't play from the playhead

Hi all,

I'm using I-Movie 11. When I try to play in full screen (either by using cmd+G or going through the 'view' menu) it will not play from where the playhead is. Instead it seems to start from random clips in my event. If I am already watching part of an event and then try to move to watching in full screen, this also happens and the playback jumps back to a random point.

It used to work fine and I don't have this problem if trying to view a project. Does anyone have any clues about why this might have happened or how I might fix it?
