With system preferences I check icloud and it says I have 400+ megs available.

Contact apple support requires a serial number. I looked on the back of icloud and could not find one. So posting here is our only choice. (yes, tongue firmly in cheek.)

Thahks,

I believe the serial no. required is for the Mac you're on.

Go to the System/iCloud preference pane and click on Manage button at the bottom of the window.

In the next window you can see what's taking up all of the iCloud storage. You may have to log into iCloud.com, go to Mail and delete emails until there's free space available for your email.

You can also set your Mail preferences to store your email on your Mac and delete them from the iCloud servers. This will keep your storage clear and your email working.
