My iPad froze as I tried to get out of a game, what do I do?

well if the home button is broken it needs to be repaired. but you could restore via itunes to unfreeze device.

Hold down the power button until it gives you the slider to shut down. Then shutdown. Maybe when you start it backup it will restore.

If it had froze, I have 2 ideas.
1. Wait after 3-6 days after frozen for battery to drain. After it had drained, recharge the iPad and restart it.
2. Wait until it turned off, then turn it back on.
