If you can access the internet on your iPad, then no it's not your router. Are you using the iPad Facebook App or trying to access your Facebook account via Safari?
NNot trying Facebook. Trying to use FaceTime. That makes sense.... Not the router.
Oh sorry.....multi-tasking. Here are directions on making sure you've set up Facetime correctly.
