I do not have a Find my iPad icon on my iPad, just a Find my iPhone icon

I have Find my iPhone set up and seems OK but my iPad does not have a Find my iPad icon - does it work the same with either icon?

iPad 2, iOS 7

Find My iPhone is the app that tracks devices iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches using Find My iPad/iPhone/iPod. It just uses the Find My iPhone name for all three.

There isn't a separate icon to set up Find My iPad. You can only do that in Settings>iCloud. The app you installed is an optional app that is used to track your devices from your iPad. The app is called Find My iPhone so that is the icon you are seeing, but it is used to track iPads, iPhones, iPod Touches and Macs using Find My iPad/iPhone/iPod/Mac from an iOS device.

You can also track your devices from icloud.com. When you go there you will find that the tracking app is also called Find My iPhone there, but like the app on your iPad, can be used to track any iOS device or Macs.

You might try closing the Mail app to see if restarting it would fix things. To close it, double-tap the home button from the home screen, locate Mail in the list, then drag up on the thumbnail image above the Mail app icon.

If relaunching Mail doesn't change things, you will probably have to mark all your messages as read again. To do this, tap Edit on the top left (to the right of "Inbox"), tap "Mark All" on the bottom left, then tap "Mark as Read". If you have more than one email account you may need to do this for each one.
