cannot call or text people

I cannot call or text any one, I have tried to restart it, and it did not work nothing is wrong with my sim card either i have tryed putting it into another pohne( same type of phone) i wanted to know if you could help me please, I know you are very busy but I need to fix it tonight, also i cannot recive any calls or texts. I also did not drop it and i bought it last month. it was working before.
