Within the Reminders app the individual reminders appear in a random order (or in order of entry). This happens even in the scheduled section. It would be good if you had the facility to sort the entries in either date/time order or alpha or priority.

All this can be done on the Mac (View menu). In my case, it's in iCal because I don't have the latest OSX. If you have the latest, it's in the Reminders View menu. Whatever you do here is propagated to the IOS devices.
I never tried to make the change on my IOS devices.
Apple changed the way reminders works on iPad so all your answers are correct. Thank you for taking the time to reply. But Apple still haven't solved the very real need for enhancement, being able to repeat something by a multiple of weeks... I.e. 4 weeks 13 weeks etc.
On the iPhone, the Scheduled button is in the top right corner of the app and looks like an alarm clock. Reminders are sorted and grouped by date.
To sort reminders tap edit in the upper right, tap the three bars on the right and you can sort them any way you want.
I don't know of a way to sort in Reminders in iPad. Would be a useful feature.
It would be nice to have custom repeat reminders, like every 4 weeks. Reminders actually has this capability - it can be accomplished with Siri. It needs to be accessible within the app too.
I believe there is a way to sort reminders in the iPad application: when opening up the reminders app, on the left hand pane where all the reminder "lists" are located, there is a button entitled "scheduled". If you click this button all the reminders will be sorted with the most recent on top. Any reminders taht don't have a due date associated will not be shown.
This works well for my purposes.
It would also be useful to set repeat reminders every 4 weeks ..... Not everything works on a calendar monthly cycle.

I don't have that alarm clock symbol on iPhone 5c and can't get my reminders in date order. Also as second point, why don't they sync the order between mac devices. Thanks for any help
When your reminder lists are showing pull down the screen and the little clock will pop up in the top right.

I am not sure if you have received an answer but you can repeat weekly dates in the Reminder application using Siri. Tell Siri a Reminder subject and how often you wish to repeat it.
