Apple Software Update Disconnecting Cisco VPN

I'm Running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1, Cisco VPN v5.0.07.0290, Apple Software Update v2.1.3. Every time Apple Software Updates runs automatically (usually overnight) it disconnects my Cisco VPN. At least that's what seems to be happening. Granted it's overnight so I don't really know the exact order of things, but when I leave my VPN connected overnight the only times it regularly is disconnected come morning is when I see Apple Software Update open. I can't reproduce this when manually running Apple Software Update.

Any thoughts on if this correlation is in any way a causation and, if so, how to fix it?
