ipod nano screen is rainbow, why?

I would like to know if it's ok when the iPod nano screen turns rainbow? This morning I jogged with it (1 hr and 30 minutes) for the first time with it in the armband. The armband is sweat-proof. I noticed sometime later that the screen had a tint of rainbow in it. Why?? Is this normal/ok?
