iOS is for mobile devices. OS is for computers. Please double check the system requirements again as there is no such thing as iOS 10.8.5.

1 beep = no RAM installed
2 beeps = incompatible RAM types
3 beeps = no good banks
4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
5 beeps = processor is not usable

Oct 12, 2013 2:09 PM in response to photogmarkby photogmark,OS 10.8.5 and if one beep means 'no ram installed'....that is not possible since i run Adobe creative suite and other power hungry programs all the time without a problem..
