Q: syncing mail

Since updating IPhone to IOS7 Mail feature will not sync to computer

Message reads

" ITunes could not sync Mail accounts to the IPhone beacause the Mail accounts

are in use by the IPhone. Close the mail account settings on the IPhone then sync again."

how do I "close" mail accounts settings.

I use Microsoft Entourage as email client on home computer it appears the Sync Mail Accounts pane in ITunes only relates to Apple Mail accounts, is this correct?

All this used to work prior to the upgrade!

Any ideas?

Hello Donald & Gillian,

This can be done by double-clicking the home button on the iPhone, swiping left-right to center the Mail entry, then swiping it up and off of the screen.

Thanks Allen,

Perhaps you could help with this one?

Another little hiccup, my IPad seems to go through the syncing process but then gets to a certain point and stops, just says "Sync cancelled" I have several apps waiting to be updated, sort of greyed out saying "waiting......"
