itunes errors when opening on windows xp

i have loaded the latest Itunes on widnows XP Sevice pack 3. upon opening iTunes this error occurs "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Please assist in allowing Itunes to load and open correctly.
