Help PLEASE

I recently updated my Iphone 4 to the ios7 and ever since I cannot play my music through my car stereo. I used to use an iphone cord connected through the usb in my car. THe radio will identify my iphone but I cannot hear any music. Any ideas what is wrong? Yes my volume is turned up:)
