my iCal calendar that I created with the color green keeps changing to purple. no matter how many times I change it to green, it turns it back to purple. Of course this only happens with iCloud and not "from my Mac". Any ideas?

Same for me today. Glad to see others are having this issue as I thought it might just be a 'local issue', and it was driving me nuts. Of course this made no sense, as all the calenders on all my devices are synced via iCloud.

I have always used green for all my work appointements (calender), and no matter what i do, they are changing to purple.

I'm having the same issue - with all colors and not just green.

In addition to changing green to purple, mine is also changing purple to blue. My orange and yellow don't seem to be affected.

Not only do I have this problem with iCal, but also with reminders. I guess a bug report will be a good idea

I am having the same problem. Calendar colors keep changing. This happened about a year or so ago, but then resolved. Now it is back! Very annoying, please fix this APPLE!!!!

Same here. My work calendar changes to purple from blue no matter what I do. Do something Apple!!!

Same thing here , even my blue calendar turned to a lighter blue... glad that I am not the only one to have this problem and annoyed by it . Let's hope for a quick fix .

You can modify the default setting, but this looks like apple is standardizing the colors.

You have to pick personal home no category etc and the colors are set as a default

In the past Home and work were nearly the same color different shades of green now the color is more distinct

Doesn't matter how many times you're changing the colour, it changes back after a few seconds. It's been a few days now and Apple is not doing nothing, not even offering an official answer. Not to mention there are at least 20 threads on the same subject. F off APPLE!

The same is happening even after changing the default color....always changes from green to purple....extremely annoying!

Same issue for me. Only seems to be on MacBook, not IPhone or IPad. Extremely Annoying since I'm used to Green being a specific calendar and already have purple for something else...

It's actually an iCloud problem. Happening on my iMac and iPad, too.

Apple is crazy, they are starting to act just like Microsoft, today I am back to Green, I do not do anything I just watch the stupidity continue, personally I like the fact that work for purple and green was home instead of green and green for both ~

Just a matter of time and they will start deleting appointments again that already happened to me once !
