Iphone 4 not being acknowledged by Itunes when plugged in to computer

I downloaded some songs off of my mother's icloud and ever since, i havent been able to get back on to itunes with my iphone. i have even reset my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled my itunes. nothing is working and i am out of options. please help
