Q: iCal has suddenly started to change the colors of my calendars; when I go to change them back to my preference, the change lasts a few minutes then reverts to the new color I didn't choose.  Any ideas?

There's another thread about this at https://discussions.apple.com/message/23341173?ac_cid=tw123456#23341173 . It lists an awkward solution (awkward since you shouldn't have to export calendars, etc., in order to fix a calendar color that wasn't broken last night).

I too have had the same problem. All aspects of the calendars work apart from this. Interestingly, all my girlfirend's calendars are unaffected and the colour changes hold - even with my shared calendars that don't work within my own account! I wonder if it is a similar underlying problem as with being unable to sign into the iTunes store for a month? again only affected my account and not my girlfirend's

Perhaps one solution is to share the calendar with someone else who is unaffected and hide the affected account until it is 'fixed'?
