External speakers for alarm and ringer.

How can I connect my iphone 5s to external speakers (or any other device) that amplify the ringer and alarm. I am hard of hearing and cannot the phone ring with the low volume internal speaker.

Connecting speakers directly to the headphone jack only amplifies music. Ringer and alarm are somehow still volume controlled at a very low setting. Yes, the ringer volume is turned up to max.

On my 4s, I bought a cable that plugged into the 30 pin charging port, then split to a USB (for charging) and a 3.5 that I plugged into computer speakers. I could hear quite well with that set up.

I bought the 30pin to 8pin adapter and tried the same, but it doesn't work and I get the "danger"wastage saying this device is not trusted.

Bought a Bluetooth speaker and it won't play ringer or alarm. Just music.

This phone is now worthless to me and I am going to lose my job from missed calls.

Please help me.
