Mail - Renaming POP Accounts in V2 Directory

HI,

I noticed while in V2 directory a few of my POP account folders had old email addresses associated with them. I had modified account info in preferences over time, yet at this direcotry level it appears the modification did not take place. Can I simply change the direcotry name to be relevant and be ok, or?
