is "1TB Flash Storage" on 27" imac of type MLC or TLC?

I've called 1-800-MYAPPLE about a half-dozen times to try get this question answered,

but no-one is able to find out. I lost count of the number of times I've been transferred...

Has anyone gotten the 1TB Flash option since it became available very recently, and can

tell me what SSD their imac was actually shipped with? This should show up under the

hardware profile menu.

I intend to use the SSD very intensively, reading and writing constantly over many months,

and do not trust TLC to be durable enought for this.

I believe SM1024F is short for Samsung.1024 GB Flash.

The new iMac apparently uses PCIe SSDs, which hints at the Samsung XP941.

That is available in sizes of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

Does that mean that SM1024F denotes two Samsung XP941 512GB drives?

Or perhaps Apple uses a custom version that omits some of the redundancies

inherent in two identical such drives?

Time will tell...
