I have iTunes U on my iPad for school. I won't open up any power points when it does it's just a white screen. Please help. I need it for school

I have iTunes U on my iPad mini. It won't open any power points on it and when I do it's just a white screen. This just started happening about an hour ago. I need this for school so please help
