Files unorganized and on top of eachother

When i access my Skydrive folder under the finder window and select icon view/arrange by Name, everything is fine and organized, but once I close the window and reopen it at a later time for instance (after i shut my computer down at night), the files in that folder are all jumbled up and some are sitting on top of eachother. I've tried setting up that folder with a default preset by rightclicking in a blank spot under that folder and selecting "show view option", But that is not working, any ideas.
