How to edit a playlist iPad iOS 7
Hello,
Since I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 I can't edit an existing playlist as I used to do. What am I doing wrong?
Sincerely,
Carmen
PS: Same for my iPhone :(
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 7.0.2

BTW, I created this list in iTunes and I'd like to edit it in my iPad.

Obviously bestbob doesn't have the latest version of iOS installed - 7.0.4 - installed or he would know that the "edit" button does not appear when one follows the sequence indicated. It is also clear that nobody at Apple seems to give a fig for this issue since ther are so many postings about the missing "edit" button on the web
I am on 7.0.4 and I do have an "edit" button and my directions work fine...look again
I have looked several times. Shut down music app, rebooted twice and there is NO edit button anywhere on the screen. No one else who has looked at my iPad can see the word "edit" anywhere on the screen!
The above method works on iPad2 and iPhone5 that's what I have can't speak for anything else on 7.0.4
The "edit". Is the 3rd line first the musical note then playlist then Edit - upper left corner
I took a screenshot to show that there is no edit anywhere on the screen but I cannot find a way to include it in this post.
My list was created on the iPad not on my laptop. Try starting a playlist on the iPad then see if that works after that I'm stuck
Go one more step from your screen, touch a playlist then look in the upper left
I noticed a similar issue on my iPhone 4s with iOS 7.0.4 Have you checked to make sure they're not Smart Playlists?
Smart Playlists created on a computer don't seem to be editable on an iPhone.
Stacy
I think in order to work and have the "edit" button the playlists have to be redone on the device.
