I'm having the same problem pairing up my wireless headphones. Did you do a restart and hold Command+R when it's rebooting?

Nowhere near solved. I have no idea what's going on with my bluetooth. Doesn't discover my wireless headphones at all. Just keeps searching and searching and nothing comes up. Doesn't even find my iphone.

You are sure the headphones are fully charged up. Is there an indicator of the power being on. Can you test the headphones using another device? What is the bluetooth status reading in the top menu bar?
Yeah, headphones fully charged and in pairing mode. They worked with my brothers Macbook Pro.
Bluetooth is on and searching for devices but never finds any, not even my iphone.
Is it possibly a disconnection of hardware that could cause it? I'm considering getting a professional diagnosis and repair happening.

Well, you have little option but to try those you haven't tried, particularly if an expensive repair is in the offing.
My instinct tells me there is something in the vicinity, another mouse, something using the same frequency range that is interfering with the signal.
Works on my brothers MacBook Pro straight away. Discovers in 3 seconds. Can't be a signal interference.
