Q: My iCloud ID and my apple ID are different. I don't know the password for icloud and dont use the email of it. I cant delete icloud without the password

My iCloud email address and my apple ID are different. I would like to change my iCloud to be the same as my apple ID. However I don't know my iCloud password and don't use the email address it belongs to. When I try to change the password, apple brings me to a page to reset my apple ID password (which I know and don't want to change). I have even tried to delete my iCloud account completely to start again but am not allowed without the iCloud password (which I don't have) there doesn't seem to be a place to change the email address of iCloud. What can I do?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

    Hello Randers4,

I know my question will sound very similar to Precelly who opened this discussion back then in 2013 but i'm really helpless

Here it goes.. My apple ID & icloud ID are different. I remember my apple ID and password and remember even my icloud ID but i have no idea of its password neither the email address i used initially to open icloud (which i created 3 years back and never used it after.) Now the problem is that i can't use my apple ID to activate my icloud since both are different. I really need to activate my ipad which is blocked since 2 days.. What can i do? Is there any solution please?

You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is a couple of years old, less people are likely to look at it. A new post would be much more visible. You can link to this one.

not until this stupid bug repaired by Apple. Just don't get it my icloud use my alias email of my apple id. That means using the same password could solve the problem. Changing my primary apple id cannot be done using email ending with @me.com. Ridiculously, at the top right of manage apple id if you want to change the primary apple id, it is said that the apple id is used accross all apple products and services. Very annoying.
