I have imac 21.5 mid 2011 what maximum RAM I can upgrade?
I have 2x2GB. I know I can buy another 2x4GB to make it in total 12GB.
I have scanned my Mac with Curicial com and they guarantied after scan that I can install 4x8GB in total 32GB is that right?
If I am not wrong I can maximum upgrade 16GB.
Please urgently help me I am middle of my order.

Your iMac model can take up to 32 GBs of RAM.
I understand thanks for your reply but how about the link below Apple support website suporting maximum 16 GB?
Apple states they can only support 16GB, however MichelePM is absolutely correct, they can support 32GB. Besides if you buy from either Crucial or OWC (www.macsales.com) both are very trustworthy vendors. Think about it, what would they gain by advertising falsely?
RAM manufacturers have tested Macs over time to determine whether or not Macs can take more RAM than Apple's own specs.
