I have confirmed my iTunes account info but my apple tv when purchasing asks me to go into itunes account and verify. I have done that an the request keeps coming up

You might also try changing something on your account and then changing it back then verifying again.

We are having the same problem: iTunes asks us to "authorize payment." We tired of the nonsense and contacted technical support, who wanted $28+ dollars. So, I cannot purchase an iTunes movie due to software problems at Apple, but to purchase the final season of Breaking Bad, I have to buy a verbal technical support package?
