LOST REMOTE
I just moved and lost the remote to my Apple TV. Now when I connect the Apply TV a message appears on the screen saying it's setting the Time and Date but nothing ever shows up after that. HELP

Unfortunately you have 2 different problems.
Date and time
Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.
No Remote
If you have the appropriate hardware you might try this feature:
Using your mobile device to set up the Apple TV.
Otherwise you will need to purchase a new remote from the Apple Store.
