Ibooks author, Collada import using Blender not working?

I develop a Collada file in Blender. When trying to import into Ibook author the import fails. I need to import the collada file into Google Sketchup and export as Collada again, i creasing the file size.

I did extensive research. And the same error persists across most of the 3d software. For most, the Collada file need to be imported to Google Sketchup, and expoyted as the same type. Then only does Ibooks author i,ports the file.
