why missing personal hotspot in my iphone 4s after upgrade ios 7 ?

What do you mean by missing, not in the settings menu,... or not discoverable?

I have same problem, hotspot is not work on iphone 4s IOS 7.0.3 ?

On iphone 4s IOS 6.1.3 hotspot is working.

If settings, cellular, personal hotspot is unable to turn on, you will need to contact your carrier to activate. Otherwise it should be a simple on/off switch.

same here on iphone 5 . went missing.

I followed the link and restored by phone after a back up. Still didn't work, contacted the carrier and they don't know either, has to be a bug in the update.

I have the same exact problem but on an iPad. It was ok before and even if it disappeared I can find it again in cellular data. But after upgrading to iOS 7.0.3 there is no what so ever personal hot spot I tried everything possible from resetting the network to resetting everything still not working I believe its a bug in the new software I hope apple can resolve this inconvenience as soon as possible.

I am running 7.0.3 on an iPhone 5s. The only issue I've seen is that you need to open the personal hot spot screen under settings and loiter there (leave it open) until your devices discover the hot spot. Anytime there is a break in connection (a device goes to sleep or moves out of range for example), I need to repeat.

At yositimy, yes this was in the old software but now as soon as I connect to my 3G the hotspot option disappears like there is no option anymore I reseted the settings multiple times still the same problems the carrier keeps telling me it's not from them .

I'm having the same issue (iOS 7.0.3 on 5s).

Had Sprint add Wi-Fi Hot Spot to my account today, went to set it up, and there's nothing in Settings for "Personal Hot Spot." Apparently it should appear underneath "Cellular" but it's just not there.

Resetting network settings didn't help. And Sprint doesn't know why it's not there either.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried everything listed in the apple troubleshooting guide. When I do a sprint service update (##873283#) i can briefly see the personal hotspot in settings>general>cellular. It appears to search for a signal, but then disappears. I'm frustrated and I need to use the hotspot over the weekend 😟

Got it fixed. I got my service provider to reset my MSID and now it works!!!
